Joint Brass Band Concert Featuring Newstead Brass Band and BMW Brass Band.  Tickets available from band members and Gifts Galore gift shop in Wirksworth.

An evening of fine brass playing featuring BM&W Brass (winners of the Village & Community section at the Denby Pottery ‘Brass on the Grass’ Contest 2018) and Newstead Brass (highest placed Midland’s band, Championship section, 2018 Bolsover Festival of Brass.). Each band will perform individually before joining for a massed band joint finale.

An important event for all band members.  Please come to band practice an our early this week for the bands annual general meeting.

Come and see the turning on of the Christmas lights in Wirksworth, with carol sing-along accompanied by the BMW Brass Band.  There will be a  blessing of the Christmas Tree and  it is rumored that Father Christmas will arrive with sweets for the children.

Come and see the tuning on of the Christmas Lights in Middleton by Wirksworth, with carols by BMW Brass Band, children rides, mulled wine and mince pies.  Lights switch on at 6.15pm, Band at 6.30pm.
